THIS WEEK IN THEATRE NEWS:

You Must Kick Up a Fuss
by Matilda Ibini and Oladipo Agboluaje
From the article:
Matilda Ibini: We have really similar backgrounds—we were both born in Hackney but come from Nigerian descent—and have had amazing conversations when you’ve come to my flat or when you visited me when I was doing my residency at the National Theatre Studio in London. As Black writers in the UK, there was a clear understanding between us of the barriers we faced. There aren’t many of us here, so when you do find someone, you want to hold onto them and say, “You’re my kin. I’m gonna come to you about everything.”
